We are New York Yacht Club American Magic
Challengers for the 36th America’s Cup

As the descendants of the intrepid sailors who first won the America's Cup and successfully defended it 24 times over a period of 126 years, we're back in the game to earn back the cup. Along the way we'll bring back the passion, values and spirit of competition that's made the America's Cup race a great contest between nations.

"The America's Cup has always remained close to the hearth of New York Yacht Club, even in the years where we didn't participate as a challenger or defender. For this cycle, a lot of elements have come together in the correct way for the Club to enter another challenge. We know they [Hap, Doug and Terry] will mount a competitive effort that is respectful of the Club's long history with the Cup and the competition itself."
